Disagree with what you said here. I'm fine with a yearly release(i take a 2 year break in betweeen myself)but each year the graphics and gameplay need to improve a lot more than they do now. right now they make an engine and milk it for 6 years.
let me tell evryone a little secret:
The PS4 isn't going to play second fiddle to ANYTHING Sony is going to do this year. Nothing.
And if you think so mr. journalist, just watch e3 this year. Actually better still, listen to the billions of rumours, hype, and sheer excitement from gamers everywhere about the release of PS4 and next xbox right now.
The PS3 is getting the nod, just like the ps2 did.

Great news, but I don't believe anything until I see it/play it with my own eyes. Especially in this industry. Everyone touted the power of the cell It was great and all but it didn't give us 1080p gaming like sony said it would.

My experience with #D is terrible. 3d destroys graphics and creates ghosting to the point that playing is just not enjoyable. Uncahrted in 3D as terrible.
Thanks. This whole win/don't win thing is just the media tickling your inner fanboy. It doesn' exist. Trust me, everyone is winning. if anyone is losing they leave the business. It's as simple as that. Losers don' get to put on spectacle like the big three at e3 every year. These events are huge and cost millions but make billions.

Dude, the fact that you think even some of the articles on this sight have credibility makes your current argument irrelevant. 98% of the articles on here a garbage, written by inexperienced teenagers or poorly educated college students. there are constant spelling errors, grammatical mistakes, lack of proper sources and anonymous journalists and above all just really poorly written articles. The saddest part is that 98% of the posters on here don't see the errors or fallacies.
